Custom Web Design
You adore working with your clients, putting your offerings into the world.
Your business is your calling, your soul's work.
Creating a gorgeous website is not.
You're ready to uplevel your business, to go pro with a custom design and brand that aligns with who you are and what you offer, but the tech, the design, the strategy sends you into a tailspin of overwhelm and frustration.
I understand, and I can help.
I’m a web designer and writer (an overall creative soul) who specializes in collaborating with my soulful clients to create vibrant custom WordPress websites.
You've got big dreams and visions which I'll translate into your web design. which is why all of my work with clients, whether it's a custom design or a coaching client, start with a discovery call.
Together, we'll be creating your online home, so we've gotta talk to know if we'll be a good fit.
Let's get started.
Gotta Q? I've got an answer!
Yes, I'll teach you how to update all of the content on your website. But, if you don't want to do that, I have ongoing maintenance and design packages available.
That really depends on you! You will need to provide all of your images and copy for your website. I will absolutely provide support and help in getting this done, and we can add copywriting to your custom package (which will run an additional $1200+).
I will start your site build when I have all of your assets, and we will choose this date together. You will need to submit everything to me by our chosen date or there will be a 25% re-scheduling fee. On our start date, I will focus on designing and developing your site.
I only work on one custom site at a time and from the start date, it will take 2-3 weeks until launch.
If you have no brand and no copy written, it will take time to develop your branding and write your copy, probably 6-10 hours for each of those sections of the program. As for building your site, if you are pretty tech savvy and familiar with WordPress, it will go fairly quickly. If you're also learning WordPress, it will take longer.
Creating a website does take time. All of those ads that say "build your site in an hour" assume that you've already got your branding done, copy written, and tech learning curve mastered.
Any additional premium assets you choose such as fonts, images, plugins etc. will be added to your final invoice.
If you'd like to purchase your own theme license, you can do that as well which would be an additional $268-$450 depending on if you choose yearly or lifetime licenses. These are included as you are my design client, but you can also purchase your own.
Once you accept your design proposal, 40% is due to secure your date. 40% is due when we begin the site build on your start date. The final 20% is due prior to launch.
Yes. I can help you keep your site fully maintained and updated once we launch. Maintenance packages run $40-$75/month.
Short answer: most custom site packages start between $2500-$3000
Long answer: Cost depends on so many factors.
Every custom site is just that...custom. This means that we'll have a chat and depending on your needs, I'll put together a web design proposal for you based on what you need.
Do you need a big site with lots of custom integrations? Do you need branding? Copywriting? Or, you may not even know what you need until we talk.
This is why I don't offer fixed packages. Every project is different. Every business owner has her own needs and dreams for her site.
However, with that said, most custom packages start around $2500 (but again there are some that are lower, some start much higher).
If you're ready to get going on your custom site, schedule a chat.
If a custom web design is out of your budget, my Create Your Dream Website program might be a good fit which costs $800. You can check that out here.
This is a super collaborative process, and it's ultimately YOUR site which means that we'll work closely together to create a custom site that is authentically YOU as well as strategic.
You're responsible for:
- purchasing your domain name and a hosting package
- getting any headshots/photos taken and submitted
- collecting and submitting any images you'd like on your site
- writing all of your copy, working with Amy to write your copy, or hiring an outside copywriter
- responding to Amy in a timely manner when she submits assets that need your feedback such as brand boards, site mockups etc.
I build all of my sites on self-hosted WordPress sites. I use a fully customizable theme which means your site will be unique to you.
