Website Real Talk with Corrie Corrigan

In honor of Wam Bam Website opening up to the world on October 15, over the next week and a half, I’m doing a series of interviews and Q&A website sessions that I’ve titled Real Talk Websites.

Corrie Corrigan was another participant in the first-run of Wam Bam Website. She dreaded putting a website together and put it off for quite some time because she was afraid of the tech and didn’t know where to start.

In this video we talked about:

  • overwhelm at the idea of creating a whole website
  • confusion about where to start and what to do first
  • how to tackle tech when you’re a visual learner

Here’s what Corrie had to say about creating her first website…

Her site isn’t quite done as she’s still refining her copy, but she feels confident and happy that she now knows how to complete it with ease, and the project no longer freaks her out.

“I was terrified of getting a website. I had thought about doing it for a while. But I’m not a tech person, so it was freaking me out on what to do and how to do it. Starting out my business, I couldn’t afford to do a whole custom website, so the Wam Bam program was perfect. I didn’t know where to start or what to do in what order when it came to creating a website. I found the videos in the program to be very informative. I’m a visual learner, so I could follow them and it anchored in my learning. I felt like Amy was right there beside me saying, ‘Okay, now do this, now do that’ which made it super easy for me since the tech is what freaked me out.”  ~ Corrie Corrigan, Clarity & Energy Coach

If you have a question about your website or websites in general, I’m going to be doing two live Q&A’s on Facebook on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 10am PST and Wednesday Oct. 17 at 5 pm PST of next week on my Facebook page.  Submit your questions in the comments below, and I’ll answer them then.

If you’re interested in Wam Bam Website, registration will be open for the Fall 2018 session from Oct. 15-19.

If you have any questions about the program at all, I’d be happy to answer them on a 15-minute free call. You can schedule that here.
